California in Black & White

Epic scenery, those two words come to mind when I think back on a roadtrip I took with my wife and daughter back in 2019. Still not being able to travel due to all the Corona restrictions, I occasionally turn to my photo catalogue and I try to look at some older photos with a different perspective. This time, I dug into the California roadtrip photos and converted some to black and white. I quite like how they bring out the lines in the landscape. My favorite ones are the photos I took in Yosemite. We were only there for a few days, I would love to spend more time there. Such a place of jaw-dropping beauty. Seeing these photos and (re)editing them has been nice but I do hope that 2021 will allow us photographers to travel again and take new photos in amazing places...
